Android O, the upcoming version of Android OS is the latest buzz in the market. The first developer preview of this version was launched on March 21 and in the month of July, the Android O was in the final developer preview stage.

The company has not yet revealed any exact date regarding the release of Android O but we can expect it anytime soon as the trusted leaked data suggest the release date as August 21. The release date predicted by these two sources is August 21. According to the Editor David Ruddock from Android Police, Android O was expected to be released quite before but its release was delayed in order to provide bug-free experience to the users. The information provided by Evan Blass suggest that the release date and the official name of Android O will be revealed in the third week of August and most probably on August 21.

These two sources hint that the release date of next Android OS is approaching soon and the interested users can mark this date on their calendars. With the release of Android O comes many new features like Notification Dots which alerts users about the new content which has hit their device, Vitals which fastens the boot time.

Furthermore, important features which can boost the smartphone performance are Wise Limits which restricts the background apps from utilizing the resources of the device. In order to reduce users time one more feature called Copy Less is introduced which cuts down the time needed to copy and paste the information from one app to other.
